Cooking Over an Open Flame

The Year 9 Outdoor Ed classes have been learning to cook cinnamon scrolls and chocolate cake over an open fire so they are prepared for their overnight camp in June, where they need to cook their own meals. Tricks learnt; collecting natural resources to burn, chopping wood and monitoring the temperature of the fire to ensure the baking comes out perfectly!

It was a great experience for all today and the students are looking forward to their overnight camp.
